Hillard, Lloyd O. – of Flushing, age 53, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church - 400 N Saginaw St, Montrose. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio from 11AM until 8PM, with a Rosary taking place at 6:30 and a Time of Sharing from 7PM until 8PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.
Lloyd was born July 9, 1971, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Glen and Helen (Willis) Hillard. He had a deep faith in God and was a valued former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Montrose Eagles #4090, where his vibrant spirit and kindness touched the lives of many. He held an unwavering passion for the outdoors, spending countless hours fishing, hunting, and boating on Holloway Reservoir. Lloyd had a zest for life that was infectious. He was always tinkering with something, finding joy in the little things, whether it was cheering for his kids or swimming with them in the sunshine.
Surviving are: Children: Myranda (Cody) Hodges, Quinn Burnett, Owen Hillard, Jack Hillard, Rachel Hillard; Grandchildren: Landen, Katie, and Kaylen; Siblings: Kathe (Michael) Thomas, Connie Badour, Tina Wolf, and Char Keel; Many nieces and nephews, Special niece, Julie (Todd) Leppert; Cousin, Donnie Hillard. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Glen and Helen Hillard; Brothers: David Wolf, Christopher Wolf, and Timothy Wolf. |
