Went to be with the Lord Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home, with family by her side; age 62 years. Laura was born on January 9, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Eugene and Ruth Hart. She was married to Gregory Havrilcsak on October 25, 1997 at St. John Lutheran Church in Fraser, Michigan, he survives her. Laura was employed as a Kindergarten teacher at Faith Lutheran School in Bay City, MI. She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Laura enjoyed collecting and tending to her garden. Laura greatly enjoyed summer days by the pool.
Surviving besides her husband Gregory are daughter Karen Havrilcsak of Frankenmuth, MI; sisters Lana Roelfzema and Linda (Fred) Ainsworth; brothers Dan Hart and Paul (Pamela) Hart, all of Grand Rapids, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola St. Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery, 2894 Patterson Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512, on Thursday July 7th at 1:00 p.m. Laura’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society, St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or Faith Lutheran School, Bay City, MI.
