Rodney E. Skank, age 78, of Clio Michigan, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was born on July 11, 1944 to the late Earl J. and Doris E. Skank. He enjoyed being with his family, working in his yard, building gas powered model airplanes, his 1983 Buick Regal, repairing old bicycles, and collecting. In addition, he was a proud American, serving our country in the United States Army, in Vietnam from 1965-1967. He married the former Rene Farr in South Carolina on July 27, 1993, and shared almost 30 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Rene Skank; his children, Earl, Raquel and Rodney Skank, and Michelle Ingle; grandchildren, Emily, Earl and Ethan Skank, and Jillian and Edmund Ingle; his brother, Terry and wife Marsha Skank; sister, Galynn and husband Denny Meek; many cousins; and an uncle.
A Life Celebration will be held in July 7, 2023 at 2:30. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly Michigan. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
