BLEWETT, WANDA LEE (McCulley) of Davison, age 89, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, January 15th, 2022, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI. Pastor Frank Beck officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 pm-8 pm on Friday, January 14 and from 11 am–1 pm on Saturday prior to the service.

Wanda was born in Flint, on February 28, 1932, the daughter of the late Johnnie W. & Elizabeth A. McCulley. Wanda married the love of her life, Francis Blewett, on September 19, 1953. She resided in Flint, Clio, and Davison for the last 23 years. Wanda graduated from Flint Central High School in 1949 and attended Owosso Bible College. Wanda was employed at AC Spark Plug in the early 50s and Citizens Bank in the late 60s and 70s. Wanda was a member of Flint First Wesleyan Church (First Pilgrim Holiness Church) from her birth in 1932 until her death. She served on the Board of Administration, Trustee Board, and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Wanda enjoyed being a choir member and participating in Christmas and Easter cantatas. Wanda sang with her sisters, The McCulley Trio, on the radio, TV, and at many churches all of her life. Wanda was devoted to her Lord, family, and friends. She enjoyed calling on those who were ill, she loved life and making people happy. Surviving are her children; daughter, Mary Lynn Jakubielski; son, John (Maureen) Blewett; four grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Waun, Johnnie Blewett, James (Courtney) Blewett, and Elizabeth Phinn; five great-grandchildren, Brook (Travis) Fath, Joe and Jenna Waun, Aiden Phinn, and Colton Blewett; two great, great grandchildren; Reagan and McKinley Fath; sister, Betty Ann Merritt; brothers-in-law, Gerald Waun and Jack (Maria) Fry; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Blewett; her parents, Johnnie & Elizabeth McCulley; sisters, Connie Lanfear, Barbara Sims, and Patricia Waun; brothers-in-law, Paul D. Merritt and William Sims; daughter-in-law, Kellie Blewett and son-in-law, William Jakubielski.
