PASSOW, Sandra Florence (Schlaud) – of Flint, MI, age 60, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 North Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Jason Crum officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 1-2 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Davison Missionary Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison Missionary Church, in Sandy’s memory.
Sandy was born in Flint, MI on September 15, 1961, daughter of Erika (Pfarr) Schlaud and the late James Schlaud. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School Class of 1979. Sandy married Jerry Passow on December 7, 1996 in Davison, MI. She was employed with Genisys Credit Union as a Loan Officer. Sandy was a member of Davison Missionary Church. She and Jerry enjoyed trips to see the fall colors every year and Christmas was her favorite holiday. Sandy also enjoyed playing cards, watching football and baseball and spending time with her church friends and family. Her laughter, sense of humor, kindness, generosity and compassion will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Jerry Passow; sister, Joanne (David) Barr; mother, Erika Schlaud; brother-in-law, Glenn (Marlene) Passow; 2 sisters-in-law, Carol (Morris) Fitzgerald and Sue (Roger) Nelson; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Schlaud.
