Bair, Irene May, - of Birch Run, age 87, died on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at West Vienna United Methodist Church- 5485 W Wilson Rd. in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Birch Run Twp Cemetery.
Irene was born on March 29, 1934, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Bernard and Vera (Hungerford) Layton. She married Donald Bair in May of 1955. He preceded her in death in 2018. Irene was a faithful member of West Vienna Church. She enjoyed traveling and being a volunteer at the church. Irene was a wonderful mother and grandma who will be missed by many.
Surviving are: Children: Don Bair, Jan (Mathew) Martinus, Jill (Kelly) Boggs; Grandchildren: Kelsey Bair, April Carroll, Bob (Becky) Richmond, Layna (Mike) Boggs, Kacie Boggs, Bryon Bair and Tarra Boggs; Great grandchildren: Abby Carroll, Levi Carroll, Allison Richmond, Hannah Richmond and Maxwell Cardona.
