Michael B. Kellaway Sr. age 67 of Bancroft, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at his home. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at St. Mark Lutheran Church of Flint. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are being handled by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel.
Michael Brian Kellaway Sr. was born May 23, 1954 in Flint, a son of Walter and Ann (Toth) Kellaway. On August 9, 2009 he married Elizabeth Carroll. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, a good cigar, traveling up north to the Upper Peninsula, and he was a master craftsman who enjoyed restoring anything to look new again. He strived to do the best at everything he did. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by General Motors for over 30 years.
Michael is survived by his children, Michael (Tamra) Kellaway II, Nathan (Jennifer) Kellaway, Matthew Kellaway and Dustan Dinshaw; grandchildren, Alec, Ava, Michael, Lukas and Madeline; brothers, Walter Kellaway and Gary Kellaway. He was preceded in death by, Elizabeth Kellaway; brother, Ronald Kellaway; parents, Walter and Ann Kellaway.
