MILLER, Clayton Jr. – of Mt. Morris, age 77, died peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2024, at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 4PM on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Paul St. Louis officiant. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 11AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Clayton was born August 2, 1947, in Flint, to the late Clayton and Margaret (Bissonette) Miller, Sr. He honorably served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968 and retired from General Motors in 2008 after 42 years of employment. On May 24, 1974, Clayton married Belinda Glascock, and they shared 50 years together. He was a member of Pine Run Church of Christ for many years with his wife. Clayton's journey was filled with simple joys - spending time with family, tending to his lawn, traveling with his wife, cheering on his favorite Michigan sports teams, and trying his luck with the lottery. Despite his quiet demeanor, those who knew him recognized his humor and kindhearted nature. Clayton loved his family beyond measure, and his legacy will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew him.
Clayton is forever remembered by his Wife, Belinda Miller; Children: Theresa Miller, Michael (Tammie) Miller, Matthew Miller, Diana (Chad) Hart, and Angel (Victor) Church; 21 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Kathy (Frankie), Rose, Norma (Jerry), JoAnne (Sam), and Irma; Beloved companions, Max and Jersey; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Clayton was preceded in death by his Parents; Grandson, Hunter Miller; Brother, Jerry Kessel. |
