EVANS, William – of Lapeer, passed away on December 5, 2022 at McLaren – Lapeer. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 5-8 PM Friday, December 9, 2022 at the funeral home. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
William was born in Bay City, MI on June 4, 1944 son of the late Sanford and Mary (Veselsky) Evans. He married Laveda O’Guinn on December 22, 1969 in Flint, MI. William co-owned and operated Evans Equipment until he retired in 2013. He loved buying, repairing, and selling cars. William was always there helping others doing projects. He would always tell a good story or a funny joke.
William is survived by his wife, Laveda; children, Leon (Teressa) Evans, Darla Evans and Dana Evans; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Robert Evans.
