STEWART, Robert Lee – of Flint, MI, age 84, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 6 PM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Deacon Dan Fairweather officiating. The family will receive visitors 4-6 PM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, in Bob’s memory.
Bob was born in Jackson, MI on December 30, 1938, son of the late Robert and Cora (Curtis) Stewart. He was a graduate of Flint Mandeville High School in Class of 1957. Bob retired from General Motors in 1998 after more than 30 years of service. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and golfing.
Bob is survived by his other half, Dianne Johnson; 3 children, Shelley (Terry) Conner, Bobby (Trista) Stewart and Amy (Ed) Abdella; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Stewart; brother-in-law, Stu Jennings; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cora Stewart and his sister, Sandra Jennings.
