James M. Harris, 66 of Lapeer, passed away suddenly on December 17, 2022, at his home. He was born on September 25, 1956 in Montreal to Walter and Anne Harris. Jimmy loved being captain of his Ski Boat. He enjoyed taking the family out to the Holloway Reservoir, or Lake Michigan to go water skiing. Jimmy retired from the General Motors, Truck and Bus Garage in Pontiac, MI. Later in life he enjoyed calling his grandchildren and watching car shows on TV.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 25 years Cindy Harris; children Becky (James) Mukes, Jeff Nance, and Shawn Nance; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Bill and Bob Harris. He is preceded in death by his aforementioned parents; son Anthony; brothers Joe and John Harris.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. |
