Link, Gerald A. “Jerry”- of Flint, MI, age 82, passed away on May 23, 2021 peacefully at his residence. A private memorial service was held for the immediate family. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held 1 PM until 5 PM, Monday, May 31, 2021 at Gary and Laura Tilson’s farm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County, envelopes are available at the celebration of life on May 31, 2021.
Jerry was born in Flint, MI on March 7, 1939, son of the late Alfred and Eleanor (Bean) Link. He married Rita Tilson on November 15, 1963. Jerry loved racing cars, Mustangs, remote control planes, spending time with family and his feline friend Buddy. He owned and operated B&B Boat Company for over 40 years. Jerry loved eating breakfast at Grandma’s Recipe Restaurant with friends.
Jerry is survived by wife, Rita; children, Kimberly (Michael) Slezsak, Kelly (Danny) Lash, Trina (Gerald) Link-Lawton; grandchildren, Michael, Micayla, Matthew, Nicholas, Alex, Samantha, Jacob and Alia; brothers, Dale, Albert and Larry, 2 sisters Cheryl and Linda; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by daughter, Traci Dunning, sisters, Shirley and Sharon and brother, Richard.
