COWARD, Bonnie Faye – of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her residence. Honoring Bonnie’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Bonnie was born May 6, 1944 in Princewick, West Virginia to the late Coy and Olah (Pritchard) Givens. She grew up in West Virginia before moving to Michigan. Bonnie graduated from Pontiac High School with the class of 1976. She received her Business Degree from Detroit College of Business. She married Eric Coward on September 26, 2000 in Lapeer, Michigan. Prior to her retirement in 1994, she worked for Lapeer Fabricators in Quality Control with 17 years of service. Bonnie enjoyed painting, geocaching and going to the Clio Senior Center.
Surviving are: Husband of 21 years, Eric Coward; Children, Kimberlee (Fang) Haynes, Timothy Beck; 6 Grandchildren; Siblings, Nellie (John) Petoniak, George (Susan) Givens; Nephew, Aaron (Angela) Owsley; Great Nephew, Gracin Owsley; several other nieces and nephews.
