Jennings, Daniel “Dan”- of Montrose, age 75, died Thursday, May 5, 2022, at his residence surrounded by family. Funeral Services will be held at 12PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Burial to follow at Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 4PM until 8PM and on Tuesday from 11AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.
Dan was born January 20, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, to the later Lorenzo and Ethel (Cushaway) Jennings. He graduated from Mt. Morris Highschool with the class of 1962. Dan married the love of his life Ava Bloss on August 23, 1975. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Dan loved baseball and was very good at it. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Dan liked playing pool and making his own fishing bait. He was a great husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by many.
Surviving are: Wife of 47 Ava Jennings; Daughters: Katherine Ward-Jennings and Samantha Lehman- Jennings; Grandchildren: Cody (Alexis Elkins) Ward, Nadia Jones, Justin Foreman, Devin Jennings, Dawson Jennings, Dominique Lehman and Sarah Collier; Great Grandchildren: Tayllor Ward and Amelia Ward. He is preceded in passing by his granddaughter Heather Rose-Marie Jennings.
