CUMMINGS, BARBARA– Of Flint, age 94, died Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Vicinia Gardens of Fenton.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 16,2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Dr Max B. Hayden officiating.
Visitation will be from 12noon till the time of service on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the funeral home.
Private burial at Crestwood Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born in Flint, Michigan on March 1, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles and Ida (Gregory) Bailey.
Barbara married Eugene on March 25, 1950, in Flint Michigan.
Barbara volunteered in the neonatal unit at Hurley Hospital with the babies. She was the auxiliary president at the Hurley Hospital.
She loved golfing, bowling, and she was a member of Flushing Golf Course.
Surviving are husband, Eugene; children, Gayle Cummings, Jill and husband Douglas Stacey of Flushing; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel.
