HOLDEN, Mildred Irene "Millie" "Queen Bee" - Age 99, of Swartz Creek passed away November 10, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Burial will in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
Mildred was born November 21, 1922 in Antrim County, the daughter of William and Lena (Louisell) Bradford. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. She worked at AC Spark Plug during WWII. Millie also sold Avon for many years. She was a snowbird to Florida for many years. Mildred took great pride in taking care of her home and yard and taking care of her appearance. She never missed her weekly hair appointments, and was proud to still be a red head. She loved to dance, spend time with her loved ones, and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her children, Pamela (Kenneth) Teveit of Swartz Creek and Lisa (Timothy) Judson of Flushing; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Luchenbill, Kristina Teveit, Erica (Richard) Robinson, Michael (Jessica) Judson, and Katherine Judson; seven great-grandchildren, Devon, Jessica, Richard, Anthony, Kai, Jet, and Christian; sisters, JoAnn Bordeau of Flushing, Shirley McDowell of Florida, and Betty Lou (Doug) Venable of Bath; many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Raymond C. Fournier on November 28, 1986; second husband, Robert Holden on June 1, 2004; and 8 siblings.
