STUVEL, MARGERY H.– Of Burton, age 91, died peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life well lived will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, July 25th at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, with Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery at 1 pm.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00pm on Monday, July 24th and 10:30am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Margery was born in Flint, Michigan on April 27, 1932, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Grover) Scott and lived in Burton.
She devoted her life to her family, friends, her arts and creativity.
She was an artist, teacher and gardener. She loved the outdoors and all of its beauty. Margery loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.
Margery was dearly loved by her husband of 69 years, Theodore and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are children, Deb (Rick), Mike and Cindy (George);
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and
many dear friends.
