RUPP, Barbara - At the age of 87 went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. followed by a service at 1 p.m. given by Pastor Don Albright. Also, thank you Pastor Jim Gosnell for providing the music.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Barbara was born in Fenton, Michigan and adopted as a baby by loving parents, Earl and Bertha Wheeler.
She was a devoted wife to Donald Rupp for 69 years. He was the love of her life and they can now share eternity together forever.
She loved being a mother to her three children, Donnie (deceased), Diane, Jerry and wife Kay.
She was always there for them in the best and most difficult times. She loved them unconditionally! Barbara enjoyed her husband’s retirement years at Grand Lake in Alpena, Michigan before settling in her present home of Swartz Creek, Michigan.
Barbara loved working on her puzzles, playing canasta and collecting her teapots! She loved planning parties and being surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving and fun grandmother to Daniel, Jason, Adam, Matthew, Sarah, Joel, Rebecca, Shannon and Joshua.
She loved seeing her 22 great-grandchildren and her 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She had so much loving support from her Rupp brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and more recently Higher Ground Ministries.
Thank you for the special care to her by Heart to Heart Hospice in her final days.
