"Catfish" Willie P. Bogue age 82 of Owosso, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Pleasant View Medical Care Facility. There are no services at this time. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
Willie Prentiss Bogue was born on April 26, 1943 in Marigold, Mississippi a son of L.B. and Irma (Mosley) Bogue. He was married to Patricia (Sova) Bogue for 57 years before she preceded him in death. Willie enjoyed playing music with his sons, family and friends in the Catfish Willie Band, going fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends and family. Prior to his retirement, he worked for General Motors for 30 years.
Willie is survived by his sons, Jeff Bogue and Joe Bogue; grandchildren, Cassandra, James and Alex; great grandchildren, James and Sydney; siblings, Terry (Donna) Bogue and Judy Steinley; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bogue; son, James Bogue; parents, L.B. and Irma Bogue; sisters, Jean Brown, Sue Skeen and Ann Hall; brothers, Max Bogue and James Bogue.
