PERKINS, JUDITH- Of Flint, age 86, died Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Birch Run Fields Assisted Living.
Funeral mass will be held at 11am Friday, October 24, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton. Father Georges Bidzogo officiating.
Visitation will be held at 4-8pm Thursday, October 23, 2025, and Rosary will be held at 6pm at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be at the church at 10am Friday until the time of mass.
In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to Genesee County Humane Society or St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
Cremation will follow service.
Judith was born in Flint on August 7, 1939, the daughter of the late Sidney and Margaret Jacobs.
She married Ronald Perkins in Las Vegas on April 4, 1985.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, CCW McLaren Aux, UAW Local #651, Trail Riders of Flint and St. Agnes Alumni Association.
She retired from General Motors.
Surviving are her children Cameron Taljonick and wife Patricia, Bradley Taljonick, Shawn Carr and husband John, Curtis Taljonick and wife Janell; siblings Ronald Martin and Cathy Tyler and husband Burt; grandchildren Shannon Horton and husband Randy, Zachary Taljonick, Amanda Balcom, Adeline Taljonick, Devon Jones and husband Chris, Troy Taljonick, Ethan Taljonick; great grandchildren Eric Balcom, Braelyn Brown, Jenesis Ferguson, Jackson Jones, Benjamin Jones; step children Ronald Perkins Jr and wife Niki and Pamela Alred; many nieces, nephews, cousins and step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepdad Albert Martin, brother Gary Jacobs, sister-in-law Karen Jacobs, stepdaughter Angela Tate.
