WOODARD, Gregory Douglas – Of Grand Blanc, age 60, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.
Visitation 12pm Friday, May 15, 2026 until the time of the service at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3pm Friday, May 15, 2026 at the funeral home.
Pastor Matt Nickels officiating.
Greg was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 6, 1966, the son of Douglas and Lucille Woodard. Greg graduated from Goodrich High School, Class of 1984. On October 12, 1996, Greg married Melissa Donovan. He was a board member at Silver Creek Church. Greg enjoyed camping, watching football, his dog Jerry, but his true joy was spending time with his family.
Surviving are wife, Melissa;
daughters, Alexiss Woodard and Andee Woodard;
sisters, Michelle Heistand and Donna (John) Goodwin;
mother, Lucille Woodard;
brother, Michael (Crystal) Donovan;
several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends;
and his beloved dog, Jerry “Lick Lick”.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Woodard, mother-in-law, Debra Sajjavaro, grandparents-in-law, Walter and Louise Drenkhan and cousins, Steve Miller and James Petty.
