WALKER, Mary L. “Lil” - Of Grand Blanc, age 98, died Monday, August 9, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, August 13, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on April 22, 1923, the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Baryo) Huot. She married Robert Walker in Flint on June 23, 1942 and he preceded her in death. Mary was employed and retired from the City of Flint Housing Commission.
Surviving are children, Detta and husband George Strutts of Linden, Jeannine Lemonds of Clio, Kathy and husband, Kevin Dunkel of Grand Blanc, Theresa Smeckens of Chesaning, Marie and husband Bob James of Grand Blanc, Dorie and husband Tom Ruggirello of Grand Blanc and Joe and wife Rebecca Walker of Midland;
And 23 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
