BILLS, Betty Mae – Of Flint, age 86, died Monday, September 21, 2020 in Georgia.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
Betty was born on July 29, 1934 in Cadillac, Michigan, the daughter of the late David and Mildred (Gusha) Kitchen, and was a resident of Flint most of her life.
Betty married Robert Bills on November 7, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1978.
She was a faithful member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Flint.
Betty was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother and a wonderful seamstress.
Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Ann and husband Warren Lane, Jr. and Sara Lynn and husband Ivan Smith;
grandchildren, Lesley Autumn Lane and Warren (Wren) Lane IIII;
brother and sisters, Joe Peck, Pat McMullen, Linda Dangel and Clara Bowmen;
many brothers and sisters-in-law from the Bills, Kitchen and Peck family.
She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers.
