CHITTICK, Mary Ann - Age 66, of Swartz Creek, died Friday February 18, 2022. A memorial service will be held
11AM Sunday February 27, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz
Creek. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Saturday and 10AM until time of service Sunday. Mary was born May 15, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of Donald and Alta (Stuible) Kinsman. She attended Central Michigan University known for the school of music and the euphonium player, Mary Kinsman, joined the marching band for the "Marching Chips" in 1973 were women have since become an integral part of their program. She married her high school sweetheart, Joey Chittick, at her parents home in Linden, MI on October 23, 1976.
Mary retired from Toys-R-Us and went on to start her own business under the name of “MA's Craft Cellar.” She was a vendor at many craft shows selling her home-made items for nearly 20 years. Mary enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking, gardening, collecting salt and pepper shakers, bird watching, rock hunting, camping, finding lighthouses and waterfalls in Michigan. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She always attended their events; bmx races, dance recitals, baseball games, soccer games, school activities, and traveled to many different states to watch her grandson race motorcycles.
Surviving are; husband of 45 years, Joey Chittick of Swartz Creek;
children, Jessica Browning of Columbiaville, Matthew (Chelsea) Chittick
of Gaines, Jared (Lindsey) Chittick of Grand Blanc; grandchildren,
Billy Ross III, Baylie Ross, Penny Lou, Colt, Knox Chittick, Beau, Heath Chittick; sister, Linda Kinsman, Laura Rogers; brother, Neal Kinsman and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Alta Kinsman. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
