Parker, Mildred “Millie” Evelyn

With heavy hearts we announce the loss of Mildred Evelyn Parker, who passed away at home, on Monday May 29, 2023 with many family and loved ones surrounding her. She was born August 9, 1938, in Bay City, the daughter of the late William Gregory and Frances “Dollie” Evelyn (Corrion) Walther.
Mildred graduated from St. Boniface Catholic School in Bay City. She was a devoted housewife, mother, care-giver, and bus driver for the Birch Run Area Schools and Saginaw ISD for many years. She loved to volunteer herself and her kids for everything. Some of the places she volunteered at were the Eagles in Clio, Cat’s Meow in Essexville, and at many functions at the Pine View Apartments in Essexville.
Mildred was the beloved mother of Susan, Sally, Shirley, Sara, Samantha, Scott, Steve, Sherry, and Lloyd “Shorty”; outlaws (spouses); grandmother; great-grandmother; sister; aunt; cousin; and friend to many.
Mildred was a loving grandma who enjoyed quilting, crocheting, puzzles, games/parties, practical jokes, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, NASCAR Races, many trips to the casino, and to Lakeland, Florida. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, brothers, sisters, grandson, many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, and cousins.
