Pat was born on December 14, 1935, in Cadillac, Michigan, to Mildred Peck and was lovingly raised by her mother and stepfather, Lorenzo Peck. Pat was one of ten children.

She had a successful career working at Bell Telephone. In 1958, she met George McMullen on a blind date. They were married on August 31, 1961, at Court Street Methodist Church in Flint, Michigan, and recently celebrated their 63rd anniversary. Deeply committed to each other, they focused on their family and raised three children together. After having her children, Pat decided to stay home with them. She taught her children values, integrity, and the joy of “paying it forward.” She was an amazing mom, ensuring her children were “put together” before leaving the house, always doing her daughters’ hair in ponytails and barrettes. She loved to sew and made many of their matching outfits. She took her son to Junior Golf and was a Den Mother. Pat always had dinner on the table for her family and devoted her evenings to helping with homework. She contributed to the household income by running an in-home daycare for several years, where each child became part of the family. Pat could put together anything, from furniture to model cars. She loved flowers and took great joy in filling her yard with them. She was also very artistic.

Pat was immensely proud of her grandchildren. She spent hours rocking them and found joy in spending money on them. She loved attending their school parties, dance recitals, hockey games, soccer games, and cheer competitions.

Pat is survived by her beloved husband, George, of Davison, MI; her sisters Linda (Roy) Dangel of Orlando, FL, and Clara (Ron) Bowman of Beaverton, MI; her brother, Joseph Peck, of Beaverton, MI; three children, Duane (Angela) McMullen of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kendall (Scott) Adams of Davison, MI, and Leslee (Reese) James of Oxford, MI; seven grandchildren: David (Caitlyn), Matthew (Melissa), Amanda (TJ), Meghann, Jack (Emily), Stasia (Seth), and Ashley; and great-grandchildren: Grayson, Owen, AJ, Emma, William, Jack, and Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her mother, stepfather, and seven siblings.
