Matthew Anderson, 40, of Flint, Michigan died on Sunday, August 7 in his home. Matt was born May 12, 1982 to Mary and Robert (Bob) Anderson. Matt was known for his infectious smile and love for his hometown of Flint. He was easygoing and a friend to everyone. He had a love of music and art, especially graffiti, of which he was an accomplished artist. Most of all, Matt did everything within his power to spend as much time as possible with his two children Sunny and Zephyr, whom he loved with his whole heart. He was a good and loving father and a good man. Matt leaves behind his two children, Sunny and Zephyr Anderson, mother, Mary Anderson of Flint, brother, V. Rev. John Kurt Baker (Stephanie), niece, Scout (Josh) Andruchow and nephews Mason (Elizabeth), Brandon, Jordan and Ethan Baker. Matt was preceded in death by his father, Bob, in 1987. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12 at 10am at St Mark Orthodox Church, 400 W. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills followed by the burial service for an Orthodox Christian at 11:30am. A repass meal will follow.
