Lydia H. Hall, of Flushing, Michigan died Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Majestic Care Assisted Living. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee Co. Humane Society.
Lydia was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 1, 1938 to Paul and Ruby (Quackenbush) Sauerwald. She moved from Baltimore to Pontiac, Michigan when she was eight years old. As a child her father helped her discover her love for nature. Some of her favorite memories were taking walks together with him in the woods at the nearby park. Lydia was a graduate of Waterford Township High School. She married Norman Tindall, who shortly after their marriage preceded her in death. On January 17, 1965 she married Robert Hall and they started a family. She had a special love for her dogs, owning several over the years. Lydia enjoyed spending time with relatives and in her later years liked to attend lunches at the Flushing Area Senior Center.
Lydia is survived by her children, Scott (Hanna) Hall and Leslie (Matt) Sedlarik; grandson, Grant Sedlarik; siblings, Paul (Ann) Sauerwald, Phil (Barb) Sauerwald, and Mark Sauerwald; nephews, Joel, Chris, Josh, Robert, Tyler, and Mark Sauerwald; and two dear cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hall, and her parents.
