Rabidue, Reginald A. age 87, died Thursday, January 18, 2018, at his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Cindy Dewar will officiate. A private burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Clio and Bristolwood Community of Christ Churches for the Blue Water Camp.
Reginald was born in Port Huron, Michigan on January 1, 1931, the son of Allen and Leafy (Martin) Rabidue. He married Nancy Mason on July 19, 1954, in Port Huron. Reginald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea from 1950-1953. He was employed for 34 years at Western Electric, later AT&T. Mr. Rabidue enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader for 20 years with Troop 73. He was an active member of Bristolwood Community of Christ Church where he served as a priest, religious leader, and church camp leader for over 25 years. He loved biblical archaeology. Mr. Rabidue was also a member of the Montrose Senior Center and the YMCA. He was a lifeguard for many years.
Reginald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy; children, Robin Rabidue, Rory Rabidue, Nicky Hodge, Heidi Rabidue; grandson, Joshua Rabidue; sister, Mary Grschnick; niece, Louellen; and nephew, Marty and wife Judy.
