BERRYMAN, Juanita A. (Gibbs) – Of Grand Blanc, age 77, died Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Road, Burton. Father Georges Roger Bidzogo officiating.
Visitation 6-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed at 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Thursday at church until the time of the Mass.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children’s Miracle Network-Hurley or to the Parkinson’s Association.
Juanita was born in Flint, Michigan on July 5, 1947, the daughter of the late Homer and Blanche (Long) Gibbs. On May 4, 1968, she married Gerald T. Berryman at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church as well as St. Michael, St. Matthew and St. Mary of Flint, where she volunteered at the East Side Soup Kitchen. Juanita was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary. She was also a volunteer for SPC Senior Companion Program.
Surviving are family, Jill (Mark)Gould; Douglas and Timothy; Michael T. (Laurie) Gibbs, Hannah and Graham and Craig (Crystal) Berryman and Janice Hubbell;
several great nieces and nephews;
special cousins, Deborah Fil and Brenda Roth;
and several second cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, sister and brother-in-law, Carol J. and Jack Armstrong.
