BRUDER, John G. – Of Flint Township, age 71, died Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6340 Roberta Street, Burton,
Father Carl Simon officiating.
Visitation 12-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Tuesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
John was born in Flint, Michigan on February 1, 1950, the son of the late Alvin and Elizabeth Bruder. John married Helen Kedovary on October 26, 1974 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. John graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Flint. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, St. Joseph Hungarian Club. John enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and loved his coffee. John retired from Delphi in 2006.
Surviving are his wife, Helen;
Daughter, Erika (Scott) Schoessel of Lansing;
Grandchildren, Olivia and Andrew George Schoessel;
Brother, Fred (Beverly) Bruder of Ohio;
And several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Ziraldo, in-laws, Eugene and Rozalia Kedovary, brother-in-law, Mario Ziraldo.
