Turbeville, Barbara I. Of Flushing, age 87, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place.
Barbara was born on February 24, 1934, the daughter of Eldon and Genevieve (Larkin) Slocum. She married James Turbeville on April 30, 1951, in Flint, Michigan. Barbara was a fun-loving person with an infectious laugh. She was known as “Bubbly Barb” and was a friend to everyone she met. She was a kid at heart and enjoyed playing games, puzzles, and roller coasters! Her and her husband, they loved to travel and spent winters out west in their 5th wheel. When at home they enjoyed frequent trips to their property in Harrisville, Michigan. Barbara also enjoyed going to casinos and was a big Elvis fan.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, James; children, James Turbeville, Jr., Gail Turbeville; grandchildren, Justin and wife Shinda Turbeville, Elicia and husband Chris Raprager; and great-granddaughter, Karmyn. Barbara was preceded in death by her grandson, Tony Bays. |
