McPherson, Almeria O'Neil - Age 91, of Flint Township, died July 5, 2023. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday July 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek (The funeral may be viewed by livestream at Mrs. McPherson's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 12 Noon on Tuesday July 11. Private interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Almeria was born January 5, 1932 in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of Arthur Crozer McDonald and Gladys (Clark) McDonald. She married Doyle Horton McPherson on March 4, 1950 and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2009.
Surviving are: three children, Phyllis (Paul) Stewart, Melanie (George) Tolliver, Mark (Sara) McPherson; grandchildren, Paul (Amy) Stewart, Heath Tolliver, Chris (Melissa) Baker, Bethany Baker Hathcok; great-grandchildren, Abigail Stewart, Jacob Stewart, Ethan Stewart, Chase (Jana) Baker, Ryan (Christen) Baker, Juliane Lyn, Nicholas (Erica) Lynn; sister June Parado; brother Ron (Vicki) McDonald; many nieces and nephews. She was precded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Onari McKelevy, Hugh McDonald, Kenneth McDonald, and Donna Rutledge; and grandsons, Patrick Stewart and Weston Tolliver.
