Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

James H. Roebuck passed away 2/4/2023 after a valiant fight to restore his health.

He will be missed greatly and remembered fondly by so many. He was a loyal friend, a hard worker, and a family centered man with a great sense of humor.

James would offer his time and labor to help anyone. Some of his best attributes came from his family and church upbringing, while growing up in Hersey, MI. He served his country during the Vietnam War and struggled with the scars that were left behind. He endured and lived a fruitful and remarkable life. He worked his way up through GM and spent his whole career there. After he retired, he continued to help friends and family with zeal.
James was blessed to enjoy spending winters in Sebring, Florida with his wife Kim. He enjoyed the company of fellow snowbirds, dancing and social events with his community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kim;

children, John (Heather), Jennifer (Troy);

stepchildren, Chris, Brandi and Anthony (Tracy);

10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren;

brothers, Bob (Anne) and Ed (Laurie);

and many other family, friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pearl Roebuck and sister.

An Honor’s Service will be held at Great Lakes Holly National Cemetery June 2nd, 2023 at 10:30 AM. A luncheon will follow at 11:30 AM at Spring Meadows C.C. in Linden.
