VALDEZ, Timothy M. – Of Gaines, age 60, died Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Timothy was born in Flint, Michigan on June 9, 1960, the son of the late Roy and Lillian (Barlow) Valdez.
On January 26, 1984 he married Cindy Parnell in Mt. Morris.
He loved mechanics and bodywork; enjoyed tinkering; loved landscaping and helping people with projects and traveled to car shows all summer long. Tim was everyone’s favorite uncle.
Timothy retired as Manager from Valvoline.
Surviving are wife, Cindy;
sons, Jeremy and Tim Valdez;
many nieces, nephews;
siblings, Lillian (John) Garcia, Matilda Johnson, Victor (Lori) Valdez, Angie (Robert) Ramirez, Shelly (Brian) Fisher and
sister-in-law, Diane Valdez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lillian; brother, Roy Valdez and nephew, Shane.
