GAUTHIER, Brian Joseph – of Holland, Ohio, age 52, passed away on May 8, 2026. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, Michigan 48423; Fr. Denis Spitzley officiating. Interment will take place following the service at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Brian was born in Flint, Michigan on September 29, 1973, son of Douglas Earl and the late Martha Joan (Kononchuk) Gauthier. He married Coleen Audrey Knight on September 17, 2005, at his father’s home in Flushing, Michigan. Brian graduated from Flint Northern High School and went on to attend Michigan State University. For 29 years, he was a devoted and beloved employee of Automotive Warehousing Company (AWC) in Tacoma, Washington. As a family-owned business, AWC always considered Brian part of their own family.
Brian had a lifelong passion for hockey and continued playing in a 50-and-over league alongside many of his high school teammates until the very end. In his spare time, he enjoyed karaoke and crafting leather goods. Through his handmade creations, Brian expressed his love and care for family and friends, whether offering comfort during difficult times or simply bringing a smile to someone’s face.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Coleen Gauthier; children, Codi (Tony Murray) Pollock, Dusty (Collin) Gabler and Dakota Pollock; father, Douglas Gauthier; nine grandchildren; siblings, Douglas (Katherine Keltner) Gauthier, Stephanie (Paul) Racette, Christopher (Kelly) Gauthier, and Andrew Gauthier; and many other loving family members and friends.
