Francis "Dale" Oberlitner
Age 70 of Bannister passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Sparrow Health System.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Chapin United Methodist Church with family visitation from 1pm until the time of service.
Dale was the son of Jake and Pearl (Kregger) Oberlitner born in St. Johns, MI on May 2, 1944.
He worked at General Motors for 34 years and retired in 1996.
Dale married Kay L. Maybaugh in Corunna on November 25, 1975.
He enjoyed bowling and hunting and looked forward canning vegetables from his garden.
Dale is survived by his wife Kay L. Oberlitner; daughter Amie Oberlitner (Kelly); son Dave Oberlitner; grandchildren Emily and Greg Oberlitner, Skyler Elkins, Devlin and Tim Nalley and Kim Brown; 2 great-grandchildren; sister Doris Godfrey; many other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter Kelly Elkins; parents Jake and Pearl; brother Alton; sister Leta Norcross.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Chapin United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
