ELLIOTT, Gail Lorraine - Age 72, of Mount Morris, died Sunday, December 26, 2021. Funeral services will be held 12:30 Tuesday January 4, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Pastor Don Dennis, officiating. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 6PM - 8PM Monday and 10:30AM until time of service Tuesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the National Audubon Society, Disabled American Veterans, and Family Life Radio. Gail was born December 1, 1949 in Flint, the daughter of Donald Herbert and Lorney Lucille (Foster) Reed. She married Kurt Michael Elliot in Thetford Twp., on February 25, 2008. Gail retired from Grand Blanc Metal Center with 13 years of service. She loved salmon fishing on the Great Lakes around St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, and under the Mackinac Bridge. Gail loved boat rides, traveling, going to the casino, bird watching, taking time to read her Bible, but especially spending time with her family. Surviving are: her husband of 13 years, Kurt Elliott of Mount Morris; children, Jasie (Roger) Inman of Dexter, Michelle Ottaway of IN, Joshua (Heather) Binkley of Dexter, Christine Thomason of Mount Morris, Sherry (Ron) Cummins of NC; 9 grandchildren and one on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Chuck (Kathy) Reed of OH; sister, Jackie Brown of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Lorney Reed and sister, Lynne Stepanski. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
