Age: 64
Community: Chesaning, MI

CHLUDIL, Ronald Allen – age 64, of Chesaning MI passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ron graduated from Chesaning Union High School in 1979. He married the love of his life Dianne, at St. Michael Parish of Maple Grove on August 31, 1985. Over the course of 40 years the two formed a partnership built on devotion, respect, and enduring love. A beloved son, brother, husband, father, and proud papa, Ron’s greatest joy came from his family. He was the proud father of three beautiful children: Quinn (Karrah) Chludil, Megan (David) Hawes, and Lydia (Kyle) Parks; and the loving grandfather of six cherished grandchildren: Myla & Barret Chludil, Lainey & Brynlee Hawes, and Camden & Charlotte Parks, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.

He cherished time spent with loved ones, whether gathered around a card table, sharing stories and laughter, or simply enjoying each other’s company. Known for his loud sense of humor and unmistakable laugh, Ron was often heard before he was seen, bringing joy, warmth, and lightheartedness wherever he went. His presence brought comfort, humor, and steadiness, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void.

Ron retired in 2024 from DWF of Flint where he dedicated 42 years of his life to the floral industry. Here, his passion, knowledge, and work ethic were evident to colleagues and customers alike. His commitment to his profession was more than a career—it was a reflection of who he was: dependable, driven, and proud of the work he did.

Ron recently became a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, a role that reflected his deep faith, sense of service, and commitment to community. He took great pride in his membership and was looking forward to living out the organization’s principles.

Outside of work, Ron found deep joy in the simple beauty of the outdoors. He took great pride in curating his garden, where he could often be found watching the wildlife that passed through the property. Bird watching was a favorite pastime, and he delighted in the quiet moments spent observing nature, finding peace and contentment in its rhythms. These quiet moments were where he felt most at home.

Ron will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the countless moments shared together.

He is also survived by siblings: James Chludil, Brenda (Ken) Harris, Kevin Chludil, all of Chesaning, Cheryl (Ron) Alden of Roscommon, Jean (Bob) Launstein of Flushing, Karen (Mark) Taylor of TX, and Brian Chludil of Chesaning; many nieces and nephews, and special extended family, the Tom and Sue Dodak family. He was preceded in death by: parents, John and Mary Lou Chludil; brothers, Jeff Chludil in 1985, and William Chludil in 2013; and a sister-in-law, Sheila Chludil in 2009.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove. Fr. Robert Kelm celebrant. Burial to follow in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
