GIBBS, Bonnie – of Davison, age 76, passed away April 20, 2022 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 4 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the time of service.
Bonnie was born in Aurora, Illinois on June 24, 1945, daughter of the late Lemont and Virginia (Shatzer) Olmstead. She married Robert Gibbs on September 4, 1981. Bonnie enjoyed bowling, golfing, and was an avid Cubs fan. She loved spending time playing with her grandchildren and watching them play sports. Bonnie was a very competitive card player, enjoyed her time with family and friends at Higgins Lake camping and riding her wave runner.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Bob; children, Kimberly (Mark) Bird-Janulis and Kerri Bird; grandchildren, Jacob (Trisha) Bird, Anne (Tim) Shover, Nick Janulis and Samantha Janulis; great-granddaughter, Amiyah Bird; siblings, Karen Olmstead and Gene (Linda) Olmstead; many other loving family and friends.
