MOZADER SR., Dallas Joseph – of Lapeer, MI, age 83, passed away on May 17, 2022 at McLaren – Lapeer. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI 48423; Minister Robert Curry officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, 3356 Hermansau Rd. Saginaw, MI 48603. The family will receive visitors 2-8 PM on Friday, May 20, 2022 and 10 AM Saturday, May 21, 2022 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Love Incorporated of Lapeer or the Lapeer Church of Christ Soup Kitchen.
Dallas was born in Flint, MI on July 19, 1938, son of the late George and Vera (Hildebrandt) Mozader. He was married to Peggy Daenzer. Dallas graduated from Flint Central in 1956. After graduation he attended GMI. Dallas spent most of his career working at Overhead Door of Flint before retiring from Detroit Door of Flint. He also owned and operated Mozader Carpet Service. Dallas enjoyed spending time with his family camping throughout the State of Michigan and going on fishing trips with his brother and dad. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had a passion for sharing his love of motor sports with his children. Dallas and Peggy volunteered much of their time at the Lapeer Church of Christ Soup Kitchen. Dallas was an incredibly generous and wise man, he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with those around him.
Dallas is survived by his wife, Peggy; daughter, Teresa (Scott) Runyon; sons, Dallas Jr. (Marcy), Michael (Kim) and Edward (Jennie); grandchildren, David (Sarah), Darren (Amber), Erika, Austin, Dallas III, Brandon (Stephanie), Edward, Ted, Annha, Jon (Beth), Antonia, and Bionca; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Gary; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vera; brother, George Jr. and grandson, Alex.
