HECKMAN, Carroll “Greg”- of Montrose, age 59, died April 18, 2022. Honoring Greg’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Greg was born September 22, 1962, in Trumann, Arkansas, to Alma (Qualls) Lowery. He attended Montrose Community Schools. In 2008, Greg met the love of his life, Judy Mead. Together they shared 14 wonderful years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Greg was an avid Michigan Sports fan and liked watching NASCAR- especially Tony Stewart and Brad Keselowski. He was a big family man and his grandchildren’s biggest fan; you could always hear him cheering the loudest at all their events. Greg was always laughing and never failed to make others smile. He would brighten up every room he entered with his welcoming personality. Greg was a great partner, dad, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Greg is forever loved by his children: Greg (Meghan) Heckman, Shane Heckman, and Shane (Briana) Mead; Grandchildren: Parker, Makenzie, Kinslee, Jayden, Bailey, Hunter, River, Nevaeh, and Landyn; Life-long companion: Judy Mead; Parents: Alma and Charles Lowery; Brother, Kevin (Angie) Lowery; Nieces and nephews: Kaylee, Kendal, Kelly Jo, Jeff (Lisa), and Khaleb; Many extended family and friends.
