David S. Rohm, 42, of Oregon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1968 in Oregon, Ohio. David was a 1987 graduate of Clay High School and worked at Maumee Bay State Park. He loved to be outdoors especially riding his bike, fishing or playing darts with his friends at Miss-Fits. David was known as the hat man, he always wore hats. His favorite sports teams were the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers and he enjoyed watching NASCAR.
David is survived by his mother, Barbara Chancey, sister, Nancy (John) Davies; brother, Mark (Kelly) Rohm; step-brothers, Michael (Kathy) Chancey, Howard (Jodi) Chancey III and Neal (Julie) Chancey; step-sister, Beverly Chancey and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley and Lawrence Rohm, Dorothy and Charles Schultz Sr., cousin, Bobby Berlincourt and special uncle, Ronald Schultz.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. and Monday from 10-1 p.m. where services will be held 1 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to family.
