GLANN, Raymond Junior – of Montrose, age 79, died Friday, March 15, 2024 at Covenant Healthcare of Saginaw. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose, Michigan. Pastor Tim Hobson officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Memorial contributions can be made to the Family for future designation.
He was born June 8, 1944 at his grandmother’s home in Chesaning, Michigan to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Lorencz) Glann. He retired from GM with 30 years of service. All who knew Raymond knew his love for his family and for his horses, whether in horse pulls, or at the Christmas Tree Farm. He loved running the roads, eating out, visiting the Amish and making you laugh by telling his exaggerated stories and jokes. The family would like to thank Specialty Care-Covenant in Saginaw for the great care he received in his last days.
Surviving are: Daughters, Kelly (David) Allen, Rebecca Fulgencio (Jason Bueche); Grandchildren, Chance (Nikki) Allen, Jesse (Sara) Allen, Jacob (Marion) Fulgencio, Nathan (Maria) Fulgencio, MacKenzie (Korey) Cuthbertson; Great Grandchildren, Laynie, Emery, Jackson, Melanie, Hudson, and Sonya; Sisters and best friends, Mary Percy, Sueann Ruddy; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Susan (Susie) Glann who passed in 2014; brothers, Roy Glann, Jerry Glann; Brothers in law, Arthur and Bernie.
