SCULLY, Joyce Ann – of Mt. Morris, age 83, died Monday, September 14, 2026 at Westfall Assisted Living. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2026 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Joyce was born September 17, 1942 in Holly, Michigan to the late Charles and Nettie (Drow) Webster. She grew up in Gaines, Michigan and graduated from Gaines High School with the class of 1960. On March 7, 1969 she married Richard Scully in Gaines, Michigan and he preceded her in death in 2023. Joyce enjoyed pansy flowers, gardening, reading and collecting wind chimes. She liked watching and feeding the birds. Joyce loved going shopping with her sisters and having cookouts. However, her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children, Steven (Kelly) Freeland, Matthew Freeland, Lisa (Eric) Wylie, Michael (Stephanie) Scully, Dawn Shimmons; Joyce was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; Sister, Cecelia Atherton; Sister-in-law, Penny (Dave) Clark; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the staff at Westfall Assisted Living and Swan Hospice for the excellent care they provided throughout her stay.
