ALCSER, Lucy M. - Of Flushing, age 73, passed away on Sunday, January 8th, 2023 at her residence.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 13th, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Father Roy Horning officiating.
Burial will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday and 10:00am on Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Lucy was born in Flint, Michigan on December 13, 1949 the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Green) Kerspilo. Lucy graduated from Holy Redeemer Catholic School. On November 17, 1979 she married Peter M. Alcser. Lucy loved traveling all over the world with Peter. She also enjoyed gambling and visiting and going on canoe trips with family and friends.
Surviving are husband, Peter Alcser;
son, Matthew (Sue) Pruitt;
daughter, Vickie Pruitt;
sisters-in-law, Helen (Sheldon) Silverstein, Geri Kerspilo and Judy Kerspilo;
brothers-in-law, George (Kirsten) Alcser and Jerry Weld;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances Kerspilo; sister, Mary Ann Weld; and brothers, Jack and Tom.
Contributions may be made in Lucy’s memory to the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance in Ann Arbor.
