Eunice Mae McAley of Davison & Otisville age 98, died Monday May 30, 2022 at home. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday June 4, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Rodney Sanderson-Smith officiating, private burial on the family plot at Davison Cemetery will be held at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Saturday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Eunice’s memory to Sunnies Ark Rescue 11180 Clark Rd. Davisburg Michigan 48350.
Eunice was born in Caro Michigan on July 3, 1923 the daughter of the late Roy and Ruth (Glander) Wright spending most of her life in the Davison area and the later years in the Otisville- Lapeer area. She was joined in marriage to Frank “Jake” McAley the love of her life in 1942 and after fifty five years of marriage he preceded her in death in 1997. She was a stay at home mom for most of her life. Her love and desire to take care of people was fulfilled as a Nurses’ Aid for the Ortonville Nursing Home. Eunice also was a proud member of Davison VFW Post 4087 Auxiliary.
She leaves to cherish her memory son Robert and wife Cathryn McAley, and daughter Debra Marble. She also leaves grandchildren: Stacie and husband Jay Fenslau, Shad and wife Lisa McAley, Angie and husband Chad Karsten, and her loving great grandchildren: Jacob, Briana, Madison, Emma, Hannah, Kaley, Breanna, Brady, Maurisa, and great great grandchildren Myles and Leo. Surviving also is special nephew Roy and wife Pam Foster and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by children: Charles, Jane, and Jim, and Eunice’s brother Charles Grove, and sister Irene Bill. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
