EDWARDS, Patricia (Wangler) – of Davison, MI, age 88, passed away on March 19, 2022. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 23, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 N. Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. The family will receive visitors from 4-7 PM Friday, April 22, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI. A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Residential Hospice, in Pat’s name.
Pat was born in West Branch on April 22, 1933, daughter of the late Francis and Marjorie (McKenna) Mahoney. She married Joseph Wangler, Sr. in 1954 and they were divorced in 1979. In 1983, Pat married Ancel Edwards and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a nurse, retiring in 1984. Pat belonged to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison where she was active in the Altar Society, St. Patrick’s Guild, and the bereavement ministry. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, needlework, and trips with St. John’s Travel Club. Pat loved spending time with her family, going to all of their activities and never missed a family reunion.
Patricia is survived by children, Joe (Judy) Wangler of Utah, Kevin (Cindy) Wangler of Washington, Tim Wangler of Swartz Creek, Lori (Tom) Gillett of Davison, Matt (Kelly) Wangler of Davison, Dave (Dawn) Wangler of Davison, Matt Edwards of Kentucky, Ken (Theresa) Edwards of Flint; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
