BRILL, Timothy H., Sr. – of Burt, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, after a short illness. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Stroke Foundation.
Timothy was born November 2, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan. Son of the late Adam and Erlene (Zwerk) Brill. He attended high school in Birch Run, Michigan. Mr. Brill served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Forrestal during the Korean War. After serving in the Navy, Tim worked for General Motors and retired from Buick City in 1997. He was a lifelong hockey fan, coached many of his son’s hockey teams, and played with the Detroit Red Wings in 1992 at Fantasy Camp.
Surviving are: Wife, Diane (Zervan) Brill; Son, Timothy (Amy Jo) Brill, Jr.; Stepdaughter, Lori (Vince) Bill; Grandson, Jakob Brill; Granddaughters: Holly and Haylee Bill; 5 siblings: Adrianne Brill, Fred Brill, Barbara Gould, Martha Truckner, and Marcia (Pat) Zuniga; Many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
