CURRIE, Marianne – of Millington, age 85, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Marianne was born May 13, 1938, to the late Leonard and Donna Stumm. She was a sassy, spunky soul who welcomed every new day with a smile. Her personality was full of so much wisdom, and she used that wisdom to shape the lives of her children and her grandchildren to follow. Marianne instilled love and comfort in the lives of many, and she truly cherished every moment spent with the ones she held dear to her heart. Above all, Marianne was an incredible mother, Mimi, Nana, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Marianne is forever remembered by her Children: Mike (Dawn) Currie, Dave Currie, Dean (Carleta) Currie, Lynne Schlosser, and Mark (Lindsay) Currie; Beloved Grandchildren: David (Sarah) Currie, Nicholas Currie, Jenna (Daniel) Sutton, Kyle (Samantha) Currie, Ryan Currie, Baylee Currie, Emily Currie, Callie Currie, Sydney Currie; Great-Grandchildren: Michael Currie and Deacon Currie; Sister, Donna McGovern. Marianne was preceded in death by her Husband, Richard Currie; Parents, Leonard and Donna Stumm; Brother, Leonard Stumm; Sister, Margaret Boyd; Son-in-law, Robert Schlosser.
